Description:
EPOSINO is a recombinant human erythropoietin injection, it is a biological engineering product manufactured by genetic recombination technology which makes human EPO genes expressed in CHO cells, followed by the process of the cell cultivation and protein purification.
rh-EPO is a glycoprotein composed of 165 amino acids (with molecular weight of 30,400 Dalton). Erythropoietin promotes the differentiation and proliferation of erythrocytes from precursors of the stem cells compartment.
It is mainly used for the treatment of anemia resulted from renal function insufficiency, including patients receiving hemodialysis and non-hemodialysis for chronic renal failure. It also has obvious curative effects on anemia resulted from non-renal disease such as radiotherapy, chemotherapy for cancer as well as blood disease.
Three phases of clinical trial show that "EPOSINO", used to treat renal anemia, not only has similar efficacy to the imported recombinant human erythropoietin, but also has specific efficacy, with total effectiveness of 95.74%, including obvious effectiveness of 61.70% and effectiveness of 34.04%.
In addition to vial, EPOSINO is also packaged with pre-filled syringe, having special advantages of no dead space in design, which avoids the loss of 10% of dosage caused by dead space in traditional syringes, and double-bevel and thin needle, which reduces the injection pain, and prevention Iatrogenic infection, as well as self-administration by patients.
